Shoreditch & Hoxton.

University Research Trip.

Well, its been an eventful week. New brief and a research trip!
We were given the chance to visit the Hoxton & Shoreditch area of London to help with inspiration and research for this new branding brief to which we have to design a various amount of deliverables for this business. After being given a background on the ‘company’ we figured the best area to take influence from was this very urban, creative and not so polished side of London.

A quirky circular stand alone coffee shop we spotted when we first got off the Underground on Old Street.

Finally, we stopped off for a bit of dinner at The Book Club, a lovely little restaurant/gallery on Leonard Street, about a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street Overground. They install exhibitions in the restaurant itself which makes for great visuals and maybe some food for thought whilst enjoying some gorgeous food or a cheeky cocktail!

Overall a beautiful place to visit, where as a lot of places that try to be ‘unique’ and have the sense of culture and community that the Hoxton & Shoreditch area have, nothing will ever be quite like it, forever changing, surprising and inspiring.
